Camping in Tuscarora State Forest

Autumn Camping in Tuscarora State Forest

A few weeks back I went on a camping trip in Tuscarora State Forest with some friends. We knew we had a good chance for rain, but it literally rained 95% of the time. In the 3 days we were there we had 3 hours where it didn’t rain. And even then our camp was shrouded in some of the densest fog I’ve ever seen.

Thankfully I brought I gigantic 20 x 20 tarp to create a communal area so we could kick it. If you’ve ever been camping in the rain, there is little worse than being stuck in a damp, dark tent by yourself. Ok, maybe there is a lot worse, but you get my point. Buy a tarp and learn how to use it.
